Willowave Terms of Use

Welcome to Willowave. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Willowave mobile application (the “App”) and related services (collectively, “Willowave,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Willowave.

1. Eligibility

Willowave is available for users of all ages. However, if you are under the age of majority in your country, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to download and use the App. By using Willowave, you confirm that you have such permission if required.

2. Subscriptions & Payments

Willowave offers both free and paid subscription options.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store In-App Purchases. By subscribing, you authorize Apple to charge your account for the applicable fees.
Pricing and subscription tiers are clearly displayed in the App. Fees are subject to change, but any changes will apply only to future billing periods.
All billing, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled directly through your Apple account settings. We do not process or store payment information ourselves.

3. Use of the App

You agree to use Willowave solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. Specifically, you will not:

Copy, distribute, or modify the App or its content without permission.
Use Willowave in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Interfere with the security, integrity, or proper operation of the App.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App’s code or proprietary sound technology.

4. Intellectual Property

All content in Willowave—including soundscapes, affirmations, music, visuals, logos, and software—is owned by Willowave or its licensors. Your use of the App grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content for personal use only.

5. User Content

The App may allow you to input or generate custom affirmations, moods, or other personal data. You retain ownership of any content you create, but you grant Willowave a limited license to process this content for the purpose of delivering personalized soundscapes and app features.

6. Health & Safety Disclaimer

Willowave is designed for relaxation, mindfulness, and personal growth. It is not a medical device and does not replace professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

Do not use Willowave while driving or in situations requiring full attention.
If you have a medical condition (such as epilepsy, heart conditions, or psychiatric disorders), consult a healthcare professional before using sound-based or brainwave entrainment tools.
You are solely responsible for how you use the App.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to Willowave at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. You may discontinue use of Willowave at any time by deleting the App or canceling your subscription via Apple App Store settings.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Willowave is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Willowave shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional distress, or health-related claims.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, we will notify you within the App or via the App Store. Continued use after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
